Lovers of golf will be eager to play on one or many of the courses in the area, all within easy driving distance of Covenanters Cottage - the closest course being 2 miles away.  Three golf trails in the area cater specifically for premier, intermediate and 9-hole players.  All venues are in stunning surroundings, allowing for the enjoyment of scenery while you play, and glimpses of different wildlife species.

The closest course is the beautiful 9 hole course in New Galloway, only two miles away.  It's challenging and from the top of the course you can enjoy unmatched views of Loch Ken. Or for a beautiful coastal course, drive out to Brighouse Bay Golf Club and enjoy the spectacular views that surround it.
